DELTA-X Power Distributor

The Delta-X Power Distributor from Shunyata Research has been attracting serious attention since its launch earlier this year, with the latest reviews suggesting that it could be one of the most accomplished — and compellingly priced — products in the company's range. Below, we've gathered four of the most recent assessments from The Absolute Sound, The Audio Beat and Tracking Angle and Audiophile Style. Across the board, a remarkably consistent picture emerges: exceptional noise reduction, greater transparency and clarity, improved dynamics and a more open, effortless presentation — with reviewers repeatedly finding themselves hearing more of what their systems were capable of.

And perhaps the most remarkable thing about the Delta-X is its value. Rather than simply pushing Shunyata's reference technology into ever more expensive territory, the Delta-X borrows heavily from the company's flagship Everest-X while bringing that technology down to a dramatically lower price. At £5,500, it's less than a third of the Everest-X's price. In other words, this isn't a case of paying a premium for incremental gains: the Delta-X delivers a significant leap in performance while simultaneously offering a far more accessible route into Shunyata's latest technology.

The Delta-X is available in black or silver, at £5,500 in either finish.
