Shunyata’s Theta cables win The Absolute Sound Product of the Year!

Congratulations! Shunyata Research’s Theta range of interconnects, speaker cables and power cables has been awarded The Absolute Sound’s Product of the Year 2025 in the “Cable and Interconnect of the Year” category.

Since their launch in the spring of this year Theta has been hugely successful, they offer superb performance and excellent value for money. Both the NR and XC power cables have been very popular and for good reason, it is undoubtedly what Shunyata are most well known for, but the interconnects and speaker cable have also impressed with their performance, taking my by surprise by the performance on offer at their price points.

Theta replaced Delta from the previous range and it comfortably outperforms Delta in every way and somewhat unusually in this day and age all of the Theta cables are more affordable than older models, Delta NR was £1500 and the Theta NR is £1100 for example.

The Absolute Sound reviewer Neil Gader praised Theta cables as “one of, if not the, most consequential cable”  he has ever evaluated.
